Pixieset makes beautiful galleries. But galleries are the last step of a job that started with an inquiry, a contract, a deposit, and six emails — and none of that lives in Pixieset. Kepla is one system for the whole job, from booking to delivery to the rebooking email eleven months later.
Pricing and features referenced on this page were checked in July 2026 against Pixieset's public pricing page. Pixieset is a trademark of its owner; Kepla is not affiliated with Pixieset.
Pixieset's Client Gallery plans run free to $40/month (billed annually) depending on storage — and the free tier takes a 15% commission on store sales. The business side — contracts, invoicing, CRM — is a separate product, Studio Manager, sold alone or in the Pixieset Suite bundle. Pair the gallery product with HoneyBook instead, and you're carrying two subscriptions, two logins, and zero shared memory between them: your gallery doesn't know the invoice is unpaid, and your CRM doesn't know the client downloaded everything a year ago and is due for a rebook.
That gap — not the gallery quality — is what Kepla replaces. (Comparing gallery tools generally? See how the numbers stack up in our cost calculator, which covers Pic-Time and others too.)

Pixieset's gallery presentation and print store are polished and battle-tested, the mobile gallery apps are a nice client touch, and the free tier is a real (if commission-funded) on-ramp. If physical print fulfillment is the core of your revenue today, Pixieset's store is ahead. Kepla's bet: most working photographers make their money on shoots and digital delivery — and lose it in the un-automated business layer Pixieset doesn't own.
A common stack is Pixieset Pro at $24/mo for galleries plus HoneyBook Essentials at $49/mo for the business side — about $876/year. Kepla's founding plans cover both jobs at $19/mo (Solo) or $39/mo (Studio), locked: $228–$468/year. And the Vault archival model means old galleries generate revenue instead of costing storage. Run your own plans through the stack cost calculator.
Kepla's migration hub imports galleries from Pixieset and Google Drive — images are copied server-side into your new galleries, so switching doesn't mean re-uploading years of client work. Moving from HoneyBook too? Client and project imports are part of the same hub. Founding members get white-glove migration help.
If you want Pixieset-quality delivery and the business side in one place, yes — that's the design goal. If your revenue is primarily physical print sales through a mature store, Pixieset currently has the edge there.
Client Gallery plans: free (3 GB, 15% store commission) to $8–$40/mo billed annually depending on storage. CRM features require the separate Studio Manager product or the Suite bundle.
Yes — the migration hub imports your galleries server-side so nothing gets re-uploaded by hand.
In Kepla, expiry is a revenue moment: clients get offered a lifetime Vault archival subscription and you share in that revenue.
